Britu padome kopā ar Starptautisko Olimpiskā pamiera centru un Apvienoto Nāciju Organizācijas biroju par sporta attīstību un mieru, organizē Imagine Peace vasaras nometni.
Vasaras nometne notiks Starptautiskās Olimpiskās akadēmijas telpās senajā Olimpijā, Grieķijā, no 24. jūlija līdz 31. jūlijam 2016.
Dalībniekiem jāierodas Atēnās 24. jūlijā un jāizbrauc no Atēnām uz 31. jūlijā vakarā vai 1. augustā.
Vispārējais mērķis Imagine Peace vasaras nometnei ir iesaistīt jauniešus interaktīvās darbnīcās un sporta aktivitātās, kas veicina Olimpiskās vērtības (Cieņa, Izcilība un Draudzība), kā arī miers, starpkultūru dialogu un cieņu daudzveidībā.
Mēs meklējam dalībnieki no visas pasaules, kas būtu:
- Vecumā no 17 līdz 25 gadiem
- Spēj sazināties angļu valodā
- Būtu pieejamas un pilnībā apņēmies piedalīties Imagine Imagine Peace jauniešu nometnē.
- Iesaistīt jauniešus vai organizācijas projektos savā pilsētā un piedalīties citu rīkotajos pasākumos, un ir motivēti īstenot jauniešu iniciatīvas
- Ziņkārīgi un atvērti dažāda veida piedzīvojumiem un draudzībām.

The British Council along with the International Olympic Truce Centre and under the auspices of the United Nations Office on Sport for Development and Peace, is organizing the Imagine Peace Summer Camp.
The Summer Camp will take place in International Olympic Academy Facilities in Ancient Olympia, Greece, from 24 July until 31 July 2016. Participants need to arrive in Athens on the 24th July and depart from Athens on the 31st July in the evening or 1st of August.
The overall aim of the Imagine Peace Summer Camp is to engage young people in interactive workshops and sport activities that promote the Olympic Values (Respect, Excellence and Friendship) as well as peace, intercultural dialogue and respect in diversity.
Lodging and local travel costs are covered by the organizers.
International flight costs should be covered by the participants.
The application deadline is at the 1st of March 2016.
